You will be accompanied by an expert nature guide who will provide insights into the wildlife you encounter, along with Alessandro, a wildlife photographer with over six years of experience. Alessandro will share techniques and tips to elevate your photography skills. Throughout the tour, you will be immersed in natural environments where animals roam freely, and it is crucial to respect both the wildlife and their habitat as we capture these moments with our cameras. At the end of each day (except for the designated free day), Alessandro will conduct a session covering the fundamentals of photography, advanced shooting techniques, and essential knowledge in biology and ethology to deepen your understanding of wildlife and nature. Each day will also begin with a workshop to introduce the day's focus, followed by outdoor photography sessions. Additionally, we will offer post-production classes using Premiere Pro, Lightroom, or Photoshop to enhance your images and create professional-quality results.
As we journey through the diverse landscapes of East Java and Bali, you'll have the unique opportunity to encounter some of the region's most iconic species. At Mount Ijen, the elusive White-faced Partridge can sometimes be spotted within its lush forests. Moving to Alas Purwo National Park, you'll be immersed in the habitat of the magnificent Javan Green Peafowl, an unmistakable bird with vibrant plumage that is a delight to capture through the lens. Finally, in Bali Barat National Park, we’ll have the chance to see two rare and highly sought-after species: the striking Bali Starling, one of the world's most endangered birds, and the brilliantly colorful Javan Banded Pitta, known for its vivid patterns. These encounters with such unique wildlife are not guaranteed, but the possibilities of observing them in their natural environments make each moment of the journey truly special for any wildlife photographer.

Tour detail
DAY 1
Pick up at Denpasar airport and then will drive you to Mount Batukaru finding Java Kingfisher, Scarlet minivet and so on.
After this stop, we will go ahead catching the ferry to East Java.
The accomodation will be Aston hotel Banyuwangi.
DAY 2 - 3
We will have 2 full days bird watching on Mount IJEIN taking pictures of little pied flycatcher, sunda warbler and other beautiful species.

DAY 4
Drive early morning for 1.5 hour to Alas Purwo Nation Park finding Javan green peaflow, grey backed starling, rhinoceros hornbill, and other beautiful species.

DAY 5 - 6
In this day we will have two full days in Bali Barat Nation Park finding for the Critically Endangered species Bali Myna and high possibilities to see also mammals and primate as deers and grey macaques.

DAY 7
On our first day together, we will have after day inside the Bedugul Botanical Garden, having the opportunity to see Sunda warbler, javan Flowerpecker and other species.
After lunch we will drop you to the airport.

What's the tour includes?
This is a 7-day tour starting and ending in Denpasar International airport. The package includes all transportation, meals, and accommodations. Any additional expenses or supplements will be at your own cost.
What's the best clothing I could take with me?
It depend of the season, but, generally, the weather is often warm and humid. In tropical regions, there are no traditional summers or winters, but rather dry and wet seasons. I recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing such as training gear, and good quality trail shoes are highly recommended.
However, you can choose what feels most comfortable for you. A waterproof jacket is advisable, along with a photography backpack equipped with a waterproof cover.
Is this tour just for professional photographer?
Do you love photography? Would you like to gradually learn how to take professional-quality photos? Then this tour is for you. Photography follows certain standards, but it’s also an art form where everyone can express their unique perspective.
What is the workshop that you mentioned on the details?
The workshop includes lessons where the photography tour leader will explain the basics of photography techniques. Afterward, we’ll head into the field to practice. At the end of the day, we’ll gather to review all the photos, discuss potential mistakes, suggest improvements, and finish with a final session focused on post-production.
How the accomodation looks like?
The locations will vary, offering new experiences each day.
The accommodations have been carefully selected to provide essential services and absolute comfort after a busy day. Rooms will be shared and assigned based on gender.
What kind of equipment do you advice?
Bringing a zoom or superzoom lens is highly recommended, ideally something in the range of 100-400mm or 150-600mm. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry—any zoom lens you have will work. The photography tour leader will be happy to lend you a lens if needed and teach you the best practices for wildlife photography.

1. *Introduction*
By booking a place on the Photography Tour (hereinafter referred to as “the Tour”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the rights and obligations of both the participant (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “the participant”) and the Tour organizer (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “the Company”). Please read them carefully before making your booking.
2. *Booking and Payments*
– The total cost of the Tour is **EUR €2,250**.
– To secure your spot on the Tour, an *Expression of Interest (EOI) Deposit* of **EUR €225** is required upon booking. This deposit is non-refundable and serves to cover administrative costs.
– A second payment of **EUR €900** (totaling 50% of the Tour cost, including the deposit) is due within *30 days of booking*. This payment is also non-refundable and secures your place on the Tour.
– The final balance of **EUR €1,125** is due *60 days prior to the start of the Tour*.
– Failure to make any of the above payments within the stipulated timeframes may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any payments made.
3. *Cancellation and Refund Policy*
– *Cancellation by Participant*:
– Cancellations must be made in writing to the Company via email or postal mail.
– The *EUR €225 EOI deposit* is non-refundable under all circumstances.
– Once the second payment of *EUR €1,125* (balance of 50% of the Tour cost) is made, *no refunds* will be issued as your place on the Tour is confirmed.
– If you cancel after paying the final balance of *EUR €1,125* (due 60 days before the Tour start date), no refunds will be provided.
– Cancellations made at any stage will result in forfeiture of payments due to the pre-booking and pre-payment of accommodations and guides.
– *Cancellation by the Company*:
– In the unlikely event that we cancel the Tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, insufficient numbers, government regulations), we will provide a full refund of all payments made by the participant. However, we are not responsible for any additional costs, such as airfare, accommodation outside of the Tour dates, or other personal expenses.
4. *Transfer of Booking*
– You may transfer your booking to another participant if the transfer request is made at least *60 days before the Tour start date. An administrative fee of **EUR €150** applies to all transfers.
– Any transfers made within *60 days of the Tour start date* will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional charges depending on accommodation and guide bookings.
5. *Changes to the Itinerary*
We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the Tour itinerary due to weather conditions, availability of services, or other factors beyond our control. We will endeavor to provide a similar experience and notify participants of significant changes as soon as possible.
6. *Health and Travel Insurance*
– Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
– Participants must be in good health and physically capable of participating in the Tour’s activities. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
7. *Liability*
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants during the Tour. However, we are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the Tour. By booking, you accept that photography tours involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activities, weather-related risks, and travel disruptions.
8. *Compliance with Consumer Law*
We comply with all relevant consumer protection legislation, including refund and cancellation rights. These terms do not intend to override your statutory rights.
9. *Governing Law*
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of local country, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with local law.

Born in Catania, Sicily, Alessandro developed a deep connection with animals from a young age, growing up in a home filled with dogs, cats, squirrels, and other creatures. His passion for photography emerged in his early twenties when he began capturing images of pets and aquarium fish.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Natural and Environmental Science and a Master’s in Environmental Biology, Alessandro decided to combine his two greatest loves—nature and photography. After years of honing his skills through self-development and hands-on experience, he is now building a community of photographers and nature enthusiasts.
